UltraStar Cinemas is now accepting resumes and applications for a variety of positions at our new entertainment facility that will be located south of Phoenix Arizona on the Ak-Chin reservation near the city of Maricopa, AZ.
This amazing entertainment center will include 12 State of the Art digital theaters, 24 lanes of bowling, a sit down restaurant, laser tag arena, family arcade and a bar and lounge area for adults 21+

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of Multi-unit Hospitality/Restaurant/Bar/Entertainment Operations
Requirements:
Comprehensive knowledge of products offered including but not limited to; beer, wine and spirits, consistent menu recipes, presentation, quality control and internal control procedures. The General Manager will be responsible for department manager selection process, hiring, training, standards and procedures, evaluating, and scheduling processes. Oversee various entertainment concepts and venues with the capability to create a cohesive working environment and culture.
Candidates must have project management, construction design and development experience. Including the ability to oversee and operate capital budgeting process such as day to day forecasting of revenue and associated labor, beverage and operating costs with the ability to provide financial projections and analysis. Candidate must possess experience in hospitality marketing and brand development. Participation in marketing and public relations activities/events within the facility is a must. Relations with the local surrounding community to establish positive guest service relations and business networking.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced multi-unit environment. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Train, develop and motivate the management team in all aspects of the various departments. The position requires a working knowledge of all equipment, their maintenance and operation including but not limited to point of sale, payroll and accounting systems.
Related tasks include but not limited to: scheduling, profit and loss briefs and statements, business plan objectives, budgeting and planning and capital projects coordination.
The General Manager is responsible to ensure all operations to follow safety and health guidelines in accordance with Native American public health, safety and sanitation regulations.

·Bowling Center General Manager – Responsible for observing operations for the entertainment centers 24 lanes including but not limited to: laser tag, pro-shop, arcade and redemption operations. At least 3 years bowling related experience required. Candidate must possess excellent oral, written and team building communication skills. Responsible for training, developing and managing the bowling center team. The position requires a working knowledge of all bowling related equipment, maintenance and operation including POS systems. Applicant must understand league play and have experience in marketing, promoting and business networking for the bowling center.
·Theater General Manager – Will be responsible for the day to day operations of a 12 screen theater. At least 3 years of theater or restaurant management related experience required. Candidate must have excellent oral, written and team building communication skills. Is responsible for the training, developing, motivating and managing the theater team. The position requires a working knowledge of all theater related equipment, maintenance and operation including but not limited to the time and attendance and POS systems.
·Restaurant Manager – Will be responsible for the day to day operations of the restaurant and sports bar located within the facility. Must have at least 3 years restaurant management related experience. Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills and will be responsible for training, developing, motivating and managing the restaurant team. Working knowledge of kitchen, a range of restaurant equipment as well as bar and server procedures and compliancy laws for title 4.
·Executive Chef - Responsible for recipe creation and implementation of the menu at the restaurant and sports grill. Additional duties include the consistent food service production for theaters and bowling alley. Applicant must have a minimum of at least 3 years experience as a chef or sous chef. The ability to maintain consistent, presentable high quality food offerings as well as maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Applicants must be Food Handler Safety Certified.
Casting begins in July 2012 for food team positions:
·Sous Chefs – Will be responsible for implementing and overseeing day to day production of quality food items and consistent preparation for different food sub-divisions within the facility. Applicants must have prior restaurant kitchen experience and be Food Handler Safety Certified.
·Assistant Managers – Will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations of the entertainment facilities. Past management experience at theaters, bowling or other entertainment related venues is a plus. The ability to manage, oversee and motivate a large staff. Strong communication skills to interact with the public. Applicants should have a working knowledge of various theater and bowling equipment being used within the facility.

·Cast members (General Floor Staff) - Looking for outgoing, friendly, motivated people to work Movie Theater and bowling center positions. Must be efficient with cash handling, detail oriented and able to follow specific directions in a high paced atmosphere. Working weekends & holidays is a requirement.
·Line Cooks - Looking for experienced cooks to prepare consistent quality food for the venue. Must have food handler certification and availability to work weekends and holidays.
·Bartenders – looking for qualified energetic, friendly and motivated people to work in the bar and lounge serving positions. Must have at least 2 years prior experience as a bartender and availability to work weekends & holidays. A current Title 4 certification is required.
·Servers - Looking for energetic, friendly and motivated people to work in restaurant, bowling center and Star Class food sections. Must be efficient with cash in a fast paced environment. Availability to work weekends & holidays is a requirement. A current Title 4 certification is required.
·Janitorial / Porters- Looking for hard working/ dedicated staff members to work after public hours to clean and maintain the facility. Must be willing to efficiently perform assigned tasks while unsupervised. Working weekends, holidays and late nights are required.
·Vault Cashier – This position requires individuals that are good with accounting and efficient working with cash. Working knowledge of 5-key operation and proficient with accounting software through the point of sale equipment a must. All applicants must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
